BugEx is a bug explanation tool that is developed at the chair of Software Engineering
at Saarland University in cooperation with Georgia Tech, USA.
The ultimate goal of BugEx is to support the developer with additional information about a failure
such that he can easily understand the underlying problem.
The tool in its current form shows already highly promising results for a small case study
we performed for a publication at ISSTA (watch the talk at SlideShare).
Due to the shortcomings of a small case study, we are currently
preparing a large scale user evaluation and an automated evaluation with many more subjects.
Additional to that we are preparing an online version of BugEx.
We highly appreciate any feedback you can give us on BugEx. Please use Uservoice.com to give use your feedback.
