About me
My name is Andrzej Wasylkowski, and from August 2005 to September 2010 I was a PhD student at the Software Engineering Chair at Saarland University. My research field was in software engineering, with strong focus on program analysis techniques and their application to automatic defect detection. From November 2005 to October 2008 I was supported by a research fellowship from the DFG Research Training Group on "Quality Guarantees for Computer Systems". In September 2010 I defended my PhD thesis titled "Object Usage: Patterns and Anomalies".
Projects
I was involved in work on the following projects:
- JADET: A tool for automatic defect detection, based on finding uncommon sequences of method calls in a program.
- Tikanga: This is a tool for fully automatic mining CTL specifications from program code and finding their violations.
- checkmycode.org: This is a web interface to a tool for automatic defect detection. checkmycode.org compares sequences of method calls in submitted code snippets to sequences of method calls used in C projects from Gentoo Linux distribution and reports anomalous sequences in the submitted code snippet.
